The United Kingdom Diving Medical Committee (UKDMC); and British Hyperbaric Association (BHA) are holding a joint conference in the city of Hull, East Yorkshire, England, Wednesday, 27 Thursday 28, of November 2019.
The running theme “Widening Perspectives” provides an opportunity for all involved in diving medicine to acquire maintain and develop their professional profile and appreciation of fitness to dive standards.
Each day has been attributed for 6 CPD points. The academic program meets the requirements of the UK HSE Approved Medical Examiner of Divers (AMED) revalidation requirements regarding “specialist diving medicine” ongoing training.
A variety of topics will be reviewed by speakers from Belgium, France, Holland, Switzerland and of course the UK.
The conference venue is Hull City Hall, conference dinner is in the Guildhall and Welcoming Drinks at the oldest pub in Hull
Ye Old Black Boy.
As a back to the future special feature, Dr. Susan Kayar (USA) will speak about biochemical decompression from ultra‐deep hydrogen diving, a research program of the US Navy.
